TIRAXIAt 26 km from Yala and 21 km from the start of the road at León, which, towards the northeast leaves the Nº 9 National Route, you will find Tiraxi. Declared a Natural Monument due to its labyrinthine wooded passes and gorges, its streams and the course of the Río Tesorero River, where you will find places for free air picnics under the shades of acacias, poplars, walnut and pine trees.The first part of the road is paved before you hit a dirt road. We recommend you plan your visit during the southern hemisphere spring and summer. The traveller can do excursions, nature walks and mountain biking tours. We recommend the use of local guides.  |
