This colourful national park is located in the highest zone of the central western area of the country, at exactly 200 km north of Brasilia, the capital city. Its large cascades, natural pools and woods of palm trees, have turned it into a destination of choice for ecological travellers. Among its fauna we count the unique Maned wolf, capybaras, giant armadillos, anteaters, rheas, tapirs, toucans and vultures. There is a camping location inside the park and some lodges where to stay in the surrounding area.
