Galapagos. It was in these islands, discovered in 1535 by the Spanish clergyman Fray Tomas de Berlanga, where the famous naturalist Charles Darwin found the basis that sustained the theories of his revolutionary theory about the origin of the species, of which he wrote a book published in 1859, 24 years after the author disembarked for the first time in
Galapagos.

To sail, to disembark and to walk, that is the mechanics to know these islands of the Pacific, it offers travellers the possibility to enter in contact with diverse species that that don't have any fear of men because of the lack of predators.

Diving: Whoever arrives to
Galapagos, should take advantage of the opportunity to submerge in the sea, to be near some of the 307 species of fish that live in it.. These "close encounters" include rays, manta rays and sharks, but visitors are given instructions that will protect them.
There are appropriate places for diving with snorkel: Gruta de los Osos Marinos (adventure in which you will be accompanied by sea bears), the Roca del Pinaculo (you will be able to see tropical fish and groups of penguins hunting in the waters) and the Corona del Diablo (if you are lucky, young sea lions will swim by your side).
