THE "FRANCISCO P. MORENO" MUSEUM OF PATAGONIA
It was inaugurated by National Parks in 1940 and is placed on the east side of the Centro Cívico. It took the name of the person who toured round and explored the Andes and the Patagonian Rivers and who donated these lands to the State. Later, this area turned into the first National Park in Argentina. There are several halls dedicated to natural sciences, ethnography, prehistory, and regional and local history, a library and a bookstore.

PALEONTOLOGICAL MUSEUM
Display of appealing material samples from different geological eras. There is also a collection of giant arachnids and other paraphernalia.
