Coihue (Nothofagus betuloides)With small, elongated and evergreen leaves, this tree can reach 30 m high and 1.20 m in diameter. When growing in stony and thin soils it gets a shape that is shrub-like, tortuous and stunted.

Magellanic Strawberry (Rubus geoide)It grows in places that keep some humidity, under the protection of some trunk. This delicious bright red strawberry is very sweet and looks like the blackberry. It is found half buried and slightly covered by its own leaves.
Drosera (Dosera uniflora)This insectivorous plant is 4 to 5 mm high. Its reddish tentacles secrete a sticky substance that attract and catch insects to devour. It only grows in very damp places and blooms during December and February.
