The reserved area of Laquipampa was established on October 5, 1982, through Law (Resolucin Ministerial) N 006-92-82-AG/DGFF.
Laquipampa is situated in the department of Lambayeque, province of Ferreafe, district of Incahuasi and has a surface of 11'346,90 hectares.
The main goal of the designation is to preserve the pava aliblanca (Penelope albipennis), which is indigenous and emblematic of the area and is menaced by extinction.
Quebrada de Negrahuasi, Quebrada de Reloj, Sector Lajas, and Quebrada de Shembo are the areas where this animal live and which aught tobe protected.

THE RESERVED AREA OF THE RIO RIMAC
This area was established on December 23, 1998 through Law (D.S.) N 023-98-AG. This Reserved area is located in the department of Lima, province of Lima, covering the districts of Cercado de Lima -the City center-, El Agustino, Santa Mara de Huachipa, Ate-Vitarte, San Juan de Lurigancho, Chosica and Chaclacayo. The strip makes for 28 km along the Rimac River.
Belonging to the fauna we see the falco sparverius and find in the banks of the river birds such as Troglodytes musculus, the Kingfisher (Chloreceryle americana), the duck called gargantillo (Anas bahamensis) or herons such as: Egretta thula, Eudocimus albus, bubulcus ibis and Nycticorax nycticorax. The plant typical of the area is the Pjaro bobo (Tessaria integrifolis). The main goal their administrators should be the preservation of the habitats, the conditioning of the riverside defences and, above all, to assure the cleanliness of the waters it takes to the city of Lima.
