DAY 02: BUENOS AIRES: City tour and Tango Show

In the morning, after breakfast, you will begin a regular city tour visiting the most important spots in Buenos Aires city: Plaza de Mayo, La Boca, San Telmo, 9 de Julio Avenue, the Obelisk, Puerto Madero, Recoleta and the Palermo Forest. Free afternoon to go shopping or take one of the discretionary tours of the city and its outskirts. In the evening you will get ready to enjoy a superb Tango Show - Dinner in a characteristic night club in Buenos Aires. Overnight.

DAY 03: BUENOS AIRES - FOZ IGUAZU
Breakfast in the hotel and at suitable time transport to the airport to board your plane to Foz de Iguazu.

DAY 04: IGUAZU FALLS: Argentine Area
In the morning, after breakfast, you begin your tour to the superb Iguazu Falls on the Argentinean side, where you will explore the many paths of Iguazu National Park. Overnight.

DAY 05: IGUAZU FALLS: Brazilian Area
After breakfast, you will begin your tour to visit the Iguazu Falls from the Brazilian area. Immediately afterwards, you will take a city tour across Foz do Iguazu and visit the gigantic Itaipu Dam, with a stop at the "Three Frontier Marker". Overnight.

DAY 06: FOZ IGUAZU - BUENOS AIRES
Breakfast in the hotel. At the adequate time airport transport to take the return plane to Buenos Aires.

DAY 07: BUENOS AIRES, ARGENTINA - SANTIAGO DE CHILE
Transport to the International airport to board your plane to Santiago de Chile.

DAY 08: SANTIAGO: City Tour

Breakfast. In the morning a city tour of Santiago de Chile. The first place visited is the Cerro Santa Lucia Hill, an important architectural compound, which constitutes an attractive and notable element in the image of the city. You will continue on to the centre of the city, where the Main Square - Plaza de Armas with the Cathedral, the Royal Tribunal - Real Audiencia, the Main Post Office - Correo Central, which used to be the residence of the Conquistador, and the Municipality of Santiago is situated. A few blocks away from the Plaza you will see the so called Mint Palace – El Palacio de la Moneda, which used to be the place where the Spaniards minted their coins, but today is the presidential palace and residence ever since the declaration of Chile's independence from the Spanish Crown. Afternoon free. Overnight.

DAY 09: SANTIAGO: Viña del Mar and Valparaiso

Breakfast. In the morning you will begin out on your visit to the city of Valparaiso, colourful city, rich in native architecture, inspiration of artists and poets, which has been declared Cultural Heritage of Humanity. It is located at 120 kilometres (almost 75 miles) from Santiago.
During the trip you will be able to appreciate the imposing view of the valleys of Curacavi and Casablanca with their famous vineyards. Once in Valparaiso, you will see the colourful houses and the cable cars. You will make a stop over at the outlook viewpoint of the Mirador 21 de Mayo, one of the many in the city and which allows for a magnificent view over the bay of Valparaiso.
You will continue on to the neighbouring city of Viña del Mar, the Garden City, which with its paradisiacal beaches is the most important beach resort in Chile, and one of the principal ones of South America. The sea and vegetation seems to be the perfect combination for this joyful of the Pacific, also known as the Garden City. It is located 9 kilometres (about 6 miles) northeast of Valparaiso and offers all types of comfort for its visitors.
Free time for lunch for your own. Return to Santiago and your hotel. Overnight.

DAY 10: SANTIAGO - CALAMA: San Pedro de Atacama

Breakfast and then transport to the International Airport to take a plane to the city of Calama. Arrival, Welcome and transport from the Airport to San Pedro de Atacama.
Visit to the mythical Valle de la Luna or Moon valley in the afternoon, a landscape of geological formations dyed in white by the salt covering them and giving them a moonlike aspect; you will go on tours along different sectors of the Valley and the mountain range surrounding San Pedro. Return to your hotel. Overnight.

DAY 11: SAN PEDRO DE ATACAMA: Atacama Salt Lake

Breakfast. Morning off to go on optional tours.
Visit to the Atacama Salt Deposit in the afternoon, the largest salt deposit in Chile and the second largest in South America, after that of Uyuni in Bolivia.

The Salt Deposit, which is located at 2305 metres altitude, is and endless rough and white mantle of salt stained by the dust of the desert, under which there is a huge lake that emerges to the surface as small lagoons that contain interesting wild species, with the beautiful pink flamingos, one of the three species of this bird having their habitat in the cordillera, standing out. You will also visit the Town of Toconao, a traditional place built with pumice, a stone of volcanic origins. Return to San Pedro de Atacama. Overnight.

DAY 12: SAN PEDRO DE ATACAMA: Tatio Geysers

You set off at dawn towards the Geysers of Tatio. This stunning geothermic field, sited at 4320 metres altitude, spurts dense columns of vapour with temperatures reaching 85º C through open cracks.
Temperatures drop below zero at dawn, when the landscape turns frightening and the steam jets reach heights of 7 metres. The occurrence is caused by the contact between the subterranean cold river and the magma of the Tatio Volcano. Breakfast in the place. Later you will visit the Community of Machuca, located 50 kilometres northeast of San Pedro de Atacama at an altitude of 4000 metres. Its adobe houses have been refurbished keeping the local style, along with its church of traditional construction. Return to San Pedro de Atacama at noon. Afternoon off to go on optional tours. Overnight.

DAY 13: CALAMA - SANTIAGO DE CHILE
Breakfast. Transport to the airport in Calama in due time in order to take your plane back to the city of Santiago.

DAY 14: SANTIAGO DE CHILE - LIMA, PERU
Transport to the airport in Santiago in due time in order to take your International plane to Lima.

DAY 15: LIMA: City tour and "Larco Herrera" Archaeological Museum

After breakfast. Guided sightseeing tour to the most attractive and significant sites in Lima, the "City of Kings". The tour includes Lima's Historical Centre, passing by Plaza San Martin, Plaza Mayor, the Government Palace, the City Hall, the Cathedral and its Religious Art Museum, the Church of Santo Domingo, with the tombs of Santa Rosa and San Martin de Porras, and Lima's Colonial Balconies.
You will visit the Convent and Church of San Francisco, the greatest monumental compound of Colonial Art in America and Cultural Heritage of Humanity. The tour includes a visit to the Basilica of 21 altars, Convent of Cloisters, Capitulary and Clementine Rooms, Chorus and Library of the priests, a Museum showing 11 paintings of the Rubens School,

the Sacristy with paintings of Surbaran and Ribera, its great patio decorated with Seville tiles of the XVIth Century, Moorish arches and underground catacombs. You will then drive through the residential Districts of San Isidro and Miraflores, passing by the Huaca Pucllana, a ritual and administrative centre of the Lima Culture built in the II Century A.C. that the Incas considered as "Ñaupallaqta" or Sacred Town. You will also visit El Olivar Park with olive trees brought from Spain in the XVI Century, the Central Park of Miraflores and Larcomar, a symbol of modern Lima and a tourist and entertainment centre, a privileged site to enjoy an amazing view of the Pacific Ocean.
In the afternoon, Visit to the Larco Herrera Museum, for an excellent overview of Peru's ancient past as it holds the best private collection of pre-Columbian art, The museum has many fine examples of textile works, one example of which has a record breaking 398 threads per inch; materials and tools used by ancient Peruvians to produce their work in ceramics and metal; and Pre-Inca and Inca period pottery, gold and silver pieces with semiprecious stones. Return to your selected hotel. Overnight.

DAY 16: LIMA - CUSCO
Transport to the International airport "Jorge Chávez" to board your plane to Cusco.

Arrival at the airport and transport to the hotel.
In the afternoon, guided sightseeing tour in Cusco visiting the Main Square, the Cathedral and the Temple of the Sun or Korikancha. Then, you drive out of the City to visit the Inca sites of Kenko, Tambomachay, Puca Pucara and the impressive Fortress of Sacsayhuaman, strategically built on a hill overlooking Cusco, famous for its enormous carved stones, some of them standing over 9 m / 30 ft high and weighing more than 350 tons.

At night, transport to a characteristic restaurant. Get ready to enjoy a dinner with folkloric show in a typical restaurant where the musicians play with Andean instruments of beautiful sounds, while typically dressed dancers will show you different ancient Peruvian dances. Return to the hotel. Overnight.

DAY 17: CUSCO: Sacred Valley of the Incas

Early morning tour to the Urubamba Valley, the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Visit the colourful Indian Pisac Market held on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays, the shopping paradise of the Andes where barter is still practiced.
Enjoy the unique ambiance during a local lunch.
In the afternoon, passing through the Towns of Calca and Urubamba, you will visit the Inca Fortress and Citadel of Ollantaytambo, built to guard the entrance to this part of the Valley, and protect it from possible invasion from the tribes in the Lower jungle. You can walk through the charming streets of the nearby Town, and get a good idea of what this Strategic Military, Religious, and Agricultural Centre was like during the epoch of the Inca Empire. On your way back to Cusco you stop of at the colourful Andean Village of Chincheros to visit the remains of the Royal Hacienda of Tupac Inca Yupanqui.

You will admire a well-preserved Inca Wall in the Main Square, and visit the gorgeous Colonial temple built on Inca foundations, with interesting frescoes in the portico. Late afternoon return to your hotel. Overnight.
Evening free. We suggest walking around the Main Square to enjoy the night atmosphere trying a delicious Pisco Sour in some of the many bars around the Square.
Note: The visit to the Village of Chincheros depends on the time available.

DAY 18: CUSCO - Machu Picchu Citadel

The day begins with an early morning rise to go to Cusco Train Station for a 3 ½ hour train journey to the famous Inca Citadel of Machu Picchu, also known as "The Lost City of the Incas", discovered for science in 1911 by the American explorer Hiram Bingham.
Arrival: After your arrival at Aguas Calientes, you will make the 25-minute motor coach ascent to the "Lost City of the Incas".
You will tour the ruins for around 3 hours, during which time your guide explains the astounding degree of technology achieved by the builders of this famous site. The tight construction, the water channels, the steps carved from the living rock of the mountain, and the Intihuatana, (or "Hitching Post of the Sun"), which was used as an astronomical calendar, all show a technological advancement far beyond anything this area of the world was thought to have.

These, along with the Temple of the Sun, the Royal Tomb, the Priests' House, the Inca Baths and the Temple of the Three Windows, all allow us to peep back into the past and, with the help of your guide, revisit the lives of these truly extraordinary people.
You enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.
The mid-afternoon train takes you back to Cusco. Meet by our Representative and transport to your hotel.
