DAY 01: INTERNATIONAL ARRIVAL
Support at your arrival to Lima International Airport and transport to your hotel. There you will receive a summary on your tour and vouchers covering all the services included in your tour and additional information on the organisation of your Peru trip.

DAY 02: LIMA: City tour and Larco Herrera Archaeological Museum

After breakfast. Guided sightseeing tour to the most attractive and significant sites in Lima, the "City of Kings". The tour includes Lima's Historical Centre, passing by Plaza San Martin, Plaza Mayor, the Government Palace, the City Hall, the Cathedral and its Religious Art Museum, the Church of Santo Domingo, with the tombs of Santa Rosa and San Martin de Porres, and Lima's famous Vice Royal Balconies.
You will visit the Convent and Church of San Francisco, the biggest monumental compound of Vice Royal Art in America and Cultural Heritage of Humanity. The tour includes a visit to the Basilica of 21 altars, Convent of Cloisters, Capitulary and Clementine Rooms, Chorus and Library of the priests, a Museum showing 11 paintings of the Rubens School, the Sacristy with paintings of Zurbaran and Ribera, its great patio decorated with Seville tiles of the XVI Century, Moorish arches and underground catacombs. You then drive through the residential Districts of San Isidro and Miraflores, passing by the Huaca Pucllana, a ceremonial and administrative centre of the Lima Culture built in the II Century A.C. that the Incas considered as "Ñaupallaqta" or Sacred Place. You will also visit El Olivar Park with olive trees brought from Spain in the XVI Century, the Central Park of Miraflores and Larcomar, a symbol of modern Lima and a tourist and entertainment centre as well as a privileged site to enjoy an amazing view of the Pacific Ocean.
In the afternoon, Visit to the Larco Herrera Museum, for an excellent overview of Peruvian ancient past as it holds the best private collection of pre-Columbian art in Peru. The museum has many fine examples of textile works, one of which has a record breaking 398 threads per inch; materials and tools used by ancient Peruvians for their work in ceramics and metal; and Pre-Inca and Inca period art pottery, gold and silver pieces with semiprecious stones. Return to your selected hotel.

DAY 03: LIMA - CUSCO

Transport to the International airport "Jorge Chávez" to board your plane to Cusco.
Arrival at the airport and transport to the hotel.
In the afternoon, guided sightseeing tour in Cusco visiting the Main Square, the Cathedral and the Temple of the Sun or Korikancha. Then, you drive out of the City to visit the Inca places of Kenko, Tambomachay, Puca Pucara and the notable Fortress of Sacsayhuaman, strategically built on a hill overlooking Cusco, famous for its enormous carved stones, some of them standing over 9 m / 30 ft high and youighing over 350 tons.

At night, transport to a classical Cusco food restaurant. Get ready to enjoy a dinner with folkloric show in a typical restaurant where the musicians play with Andean instruments of beautiful sounds, while typically dressed dancers will show you different ancient Peruvian dances. Return to the hotel.

DAY 04: CUSCO - Sacred Valley of the Incas

Early morning tour in private bus to the "Sacred Valley of the Incas", Early morning tour to the Urubamba Valley, the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Visit to the colourful Indian Pisac Market held on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays, the shopping paradise of Peru where barter is still practiced.
Enjoy the unique ambiance during a typical lunch.
In the afternoon, passing through the Towns of Calca and Urubamba, you visit the Inca Fortress and Citadel of Ollantaytambo, built to guard the entrance to this part of the Valley, and protect it from possible invasion from the nations in the lower jungle. You can walk through the old-fashioned streets of the nearby Town, and get a good idea of what this Strategic Military, Religious, and Agricultural Centre was like during the time of the Inca Empire. On your way back to Cusco you stop of at the colourful Andean Village of Chincheros to visit the ruins of the Royal Hacienda of Túpac Inca Yupanqui.

You will admire a well-preserved Inca Wall in the Main Square, and visit the beautiful Colonial temple built on Inca foundations, with interesting frescoes in the portico.
Late afternoon return to your selected hotel for overnight.
Evening free. You suggest strolling around the Main Square and enjoy the night atmosphere trying a delicious Pisco Sour in some of the many pubs around the Square.
Note: The visit to the Village of Chincheros depends on the time available.

DAY 05: CUSCO - Machu Picchu Tour

The day starts with an early morning rise to take the Cusco Train Station for a 3 ½ hour train journey to the famous Inca Citadel of Machu Picchu, also known as "The Lost City of the Incas", discovered in 1911 by the American explorer Hiram Bingham.
Arrival: Upon arrival at Aguas Calientes, you will make the 25-minute bus ascent to the "Lost City of the Incas".
You tour the ruins for around 3 hours, during which time your guide will explain the astounding degree of technology achieved by the builders of this famous site. The tight construction, the water channels, the steps carved from the living rock of the mountain, and the Intihuatana, (or "Hitching Post of the Sun"), which served as an astronomical calendar, all show technological advancement far beyond anything this region of the world was thought to have achieved.

These, along with the Temple of the Sun, the Royal Tomb, the Priests' House, the Inca Baths and the Temple of the Three Windows, all allow us to peep back into the past and, with the help of our guide, revisit the lives of these truly extraordinary people.
You enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. The mid-afternoon train will take you back to Cusco. Meet by your Representative and transport to your hotel. Overnight.

DAY 06: CUSCO - LIMA
Transport to the airport to board your plane to Lima.

DAY 07: LIMA, PERU - SANTIAGO DE CHILE

DAY 08: SANTIAGO: City Tour

Breakfast. In the morning a city tour of Santiago de Chile. The first place visited is the Cerro Santa Lucia Hill, an important architectural compound, which is an attractive and notable element in the image of the city. At an altitude of 628 m It is the place of the original foundation of the city. Buildings such as the San Francisco Church with its convent surround it. Its XVIth and XVIIth century architecture present elements that have survived in traditional Chilean architecture.
You will continue on to the centre of the city, where the Main Square - Plaza de Armas with the Cathedral, the Royal Tribunal, the Real Audiencia, the Main Post Office - Correo Central, which used to be the residence of a Conquistador, and the Municipality of Santiago is situated. A few blocks away from the Plaza you will see La Moneda, which used to be the place where the Spaniards minted their coins, but today is the presidential palace and residence ever since the declaration of Chile's independence from the Spanish Crown.

DAY 09: SANTIAGO: Viña del Mar and Valparaiso

Breakfast. In the morning you will begin out on your visit to Valparaiso, colorful city, rich in local architecture, inspiration of artists and poets, which has been declared Cultural Heritage of Humanity. It is located at 120 kms (almost 75 miles) from Santiago.
During the trip you will be able to appreciate the grand view of the valleys of Curacavi and Casablanca with their famed vineyards. Once in Valparaiso, you will see the colorful houses and the cable cars. You will make a stop over at the viewpoint of the Mirador 21 de Mayo, one of the many in the city and which allows for a great view over the bay of Valparaiso.
You will continue on to the neighbouring city of Viña del Mar, the Garden City, which with its paradisiacal beaches is the most important beach resort in Chile, and one of the principal ones of South America. The sea and vegetation seems to be the perfect combination for this pearl of the Pacific, also known as the Garden City. It is located 9 kms (about 6 miles) north of Valparaiso and offers all comforts for its visitors.
Free time for lunch for your own. Return to Santiago and your hotel. Overnight.

DAY 10: SANTIAGO - EASTER ISLAND
Breakfast. At a suitable time transport to the Santiago airport to board your plane to Easter Island. Arrival, Welcome and transport to the hotel of your choice. Free day according to the time of arrival of plane. Overnight.

DAY 11: EASTER ISLAND : Rano Raraku volcano
Breakfast. Full day tour visiting Vaihu, Akahanga, Rano Raraku, volcano situated north of Hanga Roa, is one of the major and most valuable archaeological sites on the island, because here one can find the open quarry where the moais, or huge faces, were carved. Box lunch.

You will also pay a visit to Ahu Tongariki, Te Pito Kura, two archaeological monuments with their own characteristics, Heki'i is the biggest site with plazas and platforms and Te Pito Kura (the navel of the world) has a perfectly rounded stone and the biggest moai transported and set up in an ahu on a hill of the island.
In the afternoon you will visit Nau and Anakena Beach, a place for relaxation and swimming characterized for its warm very crystalline water, the light of the surrounding atmosphere and the sea bottom with its coral reef sands. Overnight.

DAY 12: EASTER ISLAND : Orongo National Park and Ahu Akivi

Breakfast. In the morning a half day tour visiting Rano Kau, the place where a most important ceremony in the second period of the island used to take place. It is also the city and ceremonial temple of Orongo.
You will also visit Vinapu, an archaeological place with two Ahus in ruins, one of which is of particular significance since the stonework of its walls bears a great resemblance to those to be found in Machu Picchu.
In the afternoon another half day tour visiting Ahu Akivi, archaeological site in the area of Roihi, was the first to be restored in a scientific manner in the sixties, and is of particular interest not only because of its location in the centre spot of the island, but also because of the legends that surround it and its 7 moai, which represent the first 7 explorers that were sent out to explore the island by the king Hotu Matua.
The caverns of Ana Tepahu and the quarry of Puna Pau, located to the east of Hanga Roa, in a small red crater supplied the pukaos which crown the moais. On the drag way you can still find some, unfinished and abandoned. Overnight.

DAY 13: EASTER ISLAND - SANTIAGO
Breakfast. At the suitable hour transport to the Easter Island airport to board your plane back to Santiago. Arrival, Welcome and transport to the hotel of your choice in Santiago. Overnight.
